In a series of tweets today, the minister stated that PML-N and the PPP wreaked havoc with the economy and as a result country faced economic hardships.   

Expressing satisfaction over the current economic situation, he said over four thousand billion rupees have been collected in taxes for the first time in the history of the country.

Fawad further said that the overseas Pakistanis also contributed in boosting the economy by sending one thousand billion rupees to the country.  

“There has been a record production of wheat, rice, sugarcane and maize. Eleven hundred billion rupees went to the agriculture economy which significantly enhanced the purchasing power of the farmers,” said Fawad Ch.  

“The government's economic policies have started showing positive results,” he added.

He said there has been sixty four percent more sales of tractors whilst the use of fertilizers and pesticides also has witnessed an increase.    

Fawad Hussain said the stock market set a new record on the 27th of this month with the trading of shares worth 2.21 billion rupees. At present Pakistan stock market is the best market in the world.
