PTI challenges chairman, deputy chairman senate’s elections in IHC
In the senate’s session chairman and deputy chairman senate’s elections should be held.
Islamabad: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has challenged chairman and deputy chairman senate’s elections in Islamabad high court.
According to the details, PTI five senators have filed plea to bar chairman and deputy chairman senate’s elections. It is stated in the plea that chairman and deputy chairman senate’s elections should be barred till the elections of senate seats of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).
It should be noted that president Asif Ali Zardari summoned senate’s session by April 9 on 9am. The new members will take oath in session.
In the senate’s session chairman and deputy chairman senate’s elections should be held.
