Karachi: The Sindh high court (SHC) has ordered deputy commissioner Sharqi to solve the matter on the plea of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) regarding to hold a rally in Karachi.
According to the details, the plea heard in SHC related to the permission of holding a rally in Karachi. Haleem Adil Sheikh appeared in the court along with his lawyers.
Chief justice questioned that when do you want to hold a rally.
The applicant’s lawyer replied that the party wants to hold a rally in Karachi on April 28 which has not been permitted by the administration. The applicant has also given the pleas to the concerned deputy commissioner and administration in this regard but all was in vain.
The court inquired that what is the objection of the administration. The government’s lawyer answered that the officials are looking into this matter. The contacts are continued in this regard.
Later then the court ordered the deputy commissioner to solve this matter within one week and directed to inform the court regarding the decision of holding a rally in Karachi.
