Islamabad: Pakistan is presently experiencing the third wave of coronavirus which is said to be deadlier and more contagious than previous two waves.

According to National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), around 1,303 cases of coronavirus were reported while 76 people succumbed to the disease in the last 24 hours, taking the total death toll to 21,529.
The NCOC stated that the positivity rate stands at 3.1%.
The total number of cases has reached 937,434.
As many as 871,669 patients have recovered from the disease with 2,967 critical cases.
Punjab
The number of patients swelled to 343,252 in the province with 10,436 causalities.
Sindh
The number of infections has surged to 325,738 in the province, while the death toll has reached 5,183.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
The confirmed cases have surged to 135,162 in the province with 4,185 casualties.
Balochistan
There are 26,052 confirmed cases while 291 patients have died from the infection so far.
AJK and Gilgit-Baltistan
There are 19,623 coronavirus cases in the AJK while the death toll has reached 559.On the other hand, there are 5,674 cases in GB with 107 coronavirus deaths.
Islamabad
There are 81,933 cases in the capital city while 768 people have lost their lives
