Pakistan political leaders condemn Haniyeh’s murder
Naeem-ur-Rehman said that it shows that war will not be limited to Gaza, there will be a new alignment
Islamabad: Pakistani political leaders have condemned the murder of Hamas political wing chief Ismail Haniyeh while Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman has announced nationwide protests on Friday.
Maulana Fazl, head of Jamiat Ulema Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) said that the National Assembly, Senate, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Balochistan Assembly will present resolutions on this martyrdom. The sacrifices of Ismail Haniya and his family will not go in vain.
Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Senator Irfan Siddiqui said that the killing of Ismail inside Iran is a serious blow to peace efforts. Israel cannot harm the resistance movements with such actions.
Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Vice President Sherry Rehman stated that Israel has sent a message that it is expanding the scope of the war, it does not consider peace and cease-fire efforts, the opportunity that the new Iranian president was supposed to get for peace was spoiled by Israel.
Amir Jamat-e-Islami (JI) Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman said in his response that it shows that the war will not be limited to Gaza, there will be a new alignment. Ismail Haniyeh was martyred by Israel through terrorism. He sacrificed his family for the freedom movement. There are 70 martyrs from his family, which will further advance the movement.
