Lahore girls 'go missing'; police lodge abduction case
Lahore: Two girls 'got disappeared' shortly after they left home to purchase some grocery in Dhobi Ghat area of Lower Mall area on Monday, police said.
The provincial police chief took notice of the incident and issued directions to the capital city police chief Lahore for speedy recovery of the victims.
Police are making efforts to trace girls who have been feared kidnapped. A case under Section 363 of the Pakistan Penal Code.
The vicitms have been identified as nine-year-old Tahira and 13-year-old Fizza are neighbours.
Nadeem, Fizza's father, said police were alerted after hectic search bore no fruits so far, adding an unknown caller indicated the presence of girls in Karachi Cantt area. The number was later was found powered off.
