Lahore: The private schools in Lahore have increased monthly tuition fee by 10 percent to 15 percent despite the closures of educational institutions since the outbreak of pandemic.

According to details, the parents have expressed grave concern and worry over the spike in fees saying that academic activities have not been fully resumed since the outbreak making it highly unjust on the part of schools administration to increase the fees.
“Most of the schools are closed due to coronavirus outbreak. This sudden increase in monthly fees is beyond comprehension,” parents said demanding the private schools to withdraw the decision of increasing fee.
Another parent said that private schools are the ultimate beneficiaries of coronavirus pandemic as they had not only received fee from the students without holding regular classes but also increased tuition fee.
