Lahore: The Lahore High Court (LHC) has declared the detention orders of 123 Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) workers null and void.
The workers were held in jails across Punjab for their alleged involvement in the May 9 violence.
Justice Anwarul Haq of the LHC issued the orders and directed the government to release the workers without any delay.
The detained activists, who were arrested in Faisalabad, are currently held in various jails in Punjab.
The decision came in response to a petition filed by PTI leader Farrukh Habib, seeking the release of the detained party members.
