Trump issued a travel ban on Muslims in 2017, whereas Joe Biden lifted the travel ban after appointing as president in 2021.

Washington: Former US President Donald Trump has stated that if he returns to power in 2024, he will impose even stricter travel restrictions on Muslims entering the United States.
Many Muslims, including those from Pakistan, still remember the circumstances created by former President Trump in 2017 when he imposed a ban on Muslim entry into America.
This ban directly affected seven Muslim-majority countries, including Iran, Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, and Yemen, and instilled fear and anxiety among people from Pakistan and other Muslim states.
As he plans for his participation in the 2024 presidential elections, the former president has expressed similar sentiments once again.
According to a CBS report, during his speech to white nationalist voters in Council Bluffs, Iowa, on Friday, July 7, Donald Trump said, "Under the Trump administration, we implemented an extreme vetting system and imposed severe travel restrictions to keep radical Islamic terrorists and jihadists out of our country."
He further added, "If I were to resume office, travel restrictions would be even tougher and more robust than before. We do not want people to destroy our shopping centers, we do not want people to destroy our cities, and we do not want people to steal our farms. That's not going to happen anymore."
In 2017, Trump issued three versions of the controversial travel ban, with the Supreme Court allowing the full enforcement of the third edition.
President Biden, during his first week in office in 2021, signed an executive order to lift the travel ban.
