Police had pleaded the court to declare 22 PTI leaders.


Lahore: Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) Lahore proceeded to declare 22 leaders of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) as proclaimed offenders, GNN reported.
According to details, court heard the petition filed by the police to declare the accused as proclaimed offenders. Responding to the petition, the court ordered to police to post advertisements against the accused.
Police had pleaded the court to declare 22 PTI leaders including Mian Aslam Iqbal, Hammad Azhar, Farrukh Habib, Zubair Niazi, Murad Saeed and Ali Amin Gandapur as proclaimed offenders in Jinnah House attack.
Police presented Umar Sarfraz Cheema in ATC over completion of judicial remand in Askari Tower attack case. He came to the court sitting on wheelchair due to illness.
Jinnah Hospital MS Dr. Yahya Salman presented the medical reports before the court. Responding to which the court directed to provide better facilities to Umar in jail and to present him again before the court on august 07.
Court extended the judicial remand of Dr. Yasmin Rashid till august 07 in four cases including attack on Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) office.
Police is also provided with some extension to present the challan of the case of former minister.
The judicial remand of Mian Mehmood-ur-Rashid was also extended by 14 days in the case of attack on police station.
