London: A Virgin Atlantic flight from London to Los Angeles made an emergency landing back at Heathrow Airport.
According to aviation sources, Virgin Atlantic flight VS 23 departed from Heathrow International Airport in London to Los Angeles Airport in the United States at 6:07 PM local time.
The Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft was still in British airspace half an hour after take-off when the aircraft developed a technical problem.
The flight radar also received emergency signals from the aircraft.
About one and a half hours after departure, the British airline plane landed back at Heathrow International Airport.
