The complaint contained allegations of wrongdoing, possessing illicit property, and accumulating funds with frontmen.

Islamabad: A meeting of the Supreme Judicial Council (SJC) issued notice to superior court judge Justice Mazahir Naqvi on Friday.
The meeting was presided over by Pakistan's Chief Justice, Qazi Faez Isa, to discuss unresolved allegations against judges in the higher court.
Justice Sardar Tariq filed a complaint against Justice Mazahir Ali Naqvi, according to sources.
Along with Chief Justice Ameer Bhatti of the Lahore High Court and Chief Justice Naeem Akhtar Awan of the Balochistan High Court, other attendees of the SJC meeting included Justices Sardar Tariq Masood and Ijazul Ahsan.
Supreme Court Registrar Jazeela Aslam and Attorney General for Pakistan Mansoor Usman Awan were also in attendance.
It is important to note that the Supreme Judicial Council received a complaint against Justice Mazahir Ali Akbar Naqvi of the Supreme Court.
Mian Dawood Advocate filed a complaint in the judicial council against the judge of the top court.
The complaint contained allegations of wrongdoing, possessing illicit property, and accumulating funds with frontmen.
The petitioner has begged the Judicial Council to remove Justice Mazahir Ali Akbar Naqvi from his esteemed position at the Pakistani Supreme Court.
A judicial letter was sent by Justices Isa and Masood in April to Justice Bandial, who was the CJP at the time, requesting that an SJC meeting be held to discuss these accusations.
Justice Bandial had requested a legal opinion from Justice Tariq Masood in May.
