IHC gives one month to center to submit reply in audio leaks case

Islamabad: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) gave one month's time to the federal government to submit its reply in the case of audio leaks.
According to details, Justice Babar Sattar of IHC remarked that how electronic surveillance is being done and by whom. Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has denied permitting to anyone.
Justice Babar Sattar said: “The audio of Prime Minister's Office, Supreme Court Judge and family of former Chief Justice was leaked. It is a terrible act to do so without taking the State of Pakistan into confidence”.
He inquired the competent authority regarding the audio tape. The Prime Minister's Office report states that it does not look into the day-to-day affairs of secret agencies.
