Nawaz promises to introduce train service for Sialkot

Sialkot: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Supremo Nawaz Sharif on Sunday expressed admiration for Sialkot, hailing it as a city of steadfast and valiant individuals.

“People are saying Love you and I say love you too. If we came into power we will introduce train service to connection Lahore to Sialkot,” said Nawaz Sharif while addressing a gathering in Sialkot on Sunday. PML-N senior leader and former Defense Minister Khawaja Asif who is contesting from Sialkot hosted the convention.

Nawaz Sharif reminisced about his enduring friendship with Khawaja Asif, tracing their bond back to their formative years as students.

He lauded Asif not only as a political ally but also as an exemplary human being, highlighting their shared journey at Government College Lahore spanning over 55 years.

Expressing fondness for Sialkot, Nawaz Sharif lamented the missed opportunity to inaugurate the Sialkot Motorway, a project of significant importance to the region.

Emphasizing the youth's allegiance to PML-N, Sharif highlighted the vibrant presence of young supporters, alluding to their pivotal role in the party's vision.

Promising to prioritize youth empowerment, he echoed Shahbaz Sharif's commitment to provide laptops and iPads to the younger generation, underlining the party's dedication to their welfare and advancement.
