PTI's plan ‘C’ for elections come out

Islamabad: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) plan ‘C’ for the upcoming general elections has come out. In the general body meeting of PTI, determination has been expressed to hold party elections within a week.

According to the details, PTI appointed Rauf Hassan as the Federal Chief Election Commissioner of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf for the intra-party elections in the general body meeting of the party held in four provincial capitals including Islamabad.

PTI chief organizer Omar Ayub issued a notification for the appointment of Hasan Rauf. In the general body meeting, he said that during the general body meeting of PTI convened in the federal and four provincial capitals in connection with the intra-party elections, the central office of Islamabad and the office of Quetta were raided by the police.

He said that the members of our party were prevented by the police from accessing the premises of the party office, the action of the police is a direct violation of the orders of Supreme Court (SC).

Omar further said that every obstacle is being placed in the way of PTI to prevent us from functioning as a political party, we condemn this action of the police and demand immediate notice from the judiciary.
