Snowfall brings tourists, traffic jams in Murree
Deputy Commissioner Murree says that rescue work is underway in the affected areas and many families have been rescued in the operation.
Murree: The tourists have flocked in Murree after more than a foot of snowfall overnight.
Due to snowfall in Murree, tourists were trapped at various places.
In this regard, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Murree says that rescue work is underway in the affected areas and many families have been rescued in the operation.
It is pertinent to note that earlier City Traffic Officer (CTO) Rawalpindi has issued a traffic advisory for the tourists coming to Murree due to severe cold and snowfall.
The instructions issued by the CTO stated that during the snowfall, tourists should keep the fuel tank of the vehicle full, keep warm clothes with them and park the cars at a suitable place.
The CTO also prohibited tourists from taking selfies while standing at the road during snowfall
