Committee Chairman Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad will preside over the meeting in the presences of committee members.


Islamabad: The Shawwal moon was not seen in Saudi Arabia, while the Ruet-e-Hilal Committee will hold a meeting in Pakistan today i.e. Ramadan 29.
According to the details, the meeting of Ruet-e-Hilal Committee will be held today in Islamabad. Committee Chairman Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad will preside over the meeting in the presences of committee members, Department of Meteorology, Pakistan Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SUPARCO) and officials of Science and Technology.
The meeting of Ruet-e-Hilal Committee will be held at the Ministry of Religious Affairs while the meetings of zonal Sighting Crescent Committees will be held at designated places. In the meeting, testimonies of moon sightings will be received from all over the country, in the light of which the Central Sighting Crescent Committee will announce the celebration of Eid al-Fitr.
On the other hand, the Department of Meteorology, while predicting the sighting of the Eid moon today, said that Eid-ul-Fitr is expected to take place in Pakistan tomorrow, Wednesday, the weather is likely to remain clear in most parts of the country today. Eid will be together in Pakistan and Saudi Arabia if the moon is visible today.
