Sindh Education Department makes decision, citing weather conditions

Karachi: The Sindh government on Tuesday extended summer vacations in schools until August 14 due to the harsh weather conditions.
The relevant authorities issued a notification in this regard.
According to the Sindh Minister of Education, the new academic year across the province will commence on August 15.
However, the activities related to August 14 and extracurricular activities would continue in schools.
The education minister further mentioned that all private and public schools would organise programmes to celebrate Independence Day.
