Food that cause diabetes
Poor quality and unbalanced diet is causing diabetes among the citizens around World.
Specialists refer excessive use of biryani and cold drinks as a big reason of causing diabetes. Health experts say that it is helpful to exercise, including changing eating habits to prevent being diabetic.
26% of Pakistan's adult population currently suffers from diabetes.
Experts say that if people do not change the way of life immediately, in the next few years, Pakistan will be one of the few countries in the world in terms of the number of people with disabilities.
Further, professionals warn that not just biryani and rice are harmful but excessive consumption of carbohydrates in the daily diet also carry the negative effects.
Beside other essential elements, the body also needs vitamins.
Medical Advisor said that there are two types of carbohydrates, one simple and one complex.
"The simple one should be ignored and the complex should be included in our diet," he said.
Health experts say eating habits need to be changed to prevent the disease. It is important to exercise with a balanced diet. “Simple carbohydrates are absorbed by the body immediately,”
"We are consuming junk food, cold drinks, pizza, and stuff that increases appetite and results into gaining our weight," he said.
According to experts, diabetes is a sweet but dangerous disease that destroys the human body from inside. Unfortunately, millions of people in Pakistan are unaware of their disease despite having diabetes.
