12 more died during the last 24 hours

Islamabad: Flood situation still persists in several areas, and where it has receded, it has left traces of destruction behind it. Twelve more people have lost their lives due to the floods, taking the death toll from the recent monsoon rains and floods in the country to 1,355.
The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) issued Thursday a 24-hour situation that accounted for overall life, property, and infrastructure losses incurred by the heavy rains lashing out various parts of the country.
According to NDMA, 6 more people died in Sindh, 2 more died in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and 3 people died in Balochistan due to the floods caused by torrential rains in Pakistan.
The report added that 1,355 have died since June 14, while at least 12,722 individuals got injured since the onset of the rainy season.
At least 564831 houses were destroyed while 7,53,187 cattle were also washed away in the flood.
The NDMA stated that the total of flood casualties in Balochistan has reached 263, Punjab 191, Gilgit-Baltistan 22, and Azad Kashmir 44.
