Lawyer shot dead in Rawalpindi's Dheri Hassanabad
Rawalpindi: A lawyer has been shot dead in broad daylight by unknown assailants near Dheri Hassanabad area of Rawalpindi on Monday, GNN reported.
As per details, the local Advocate identified as Sheikh Imran has been gunned down while he was returning home after dropping his children to school.
Two unknown assailants riding a motorcycle fired on the lawyer, in what appears to be a matter of targeted killing, and managed their escape.
The lawyer received multiple bullets to his head and succumbed to his injuries on the spot.
The body of the deceased has been moved to the hospital for postmortem.
In the meantime, Regional Police Officer (RPO) Rawalpindi, Nasir Mahmood has taken notice of the killing of the lawyer and summoned a report from the CPO.
