West Virginia: The mysterious white dust falling from the sky in the two states of the United States of America surprised the citizens.

The people started talking about the mysterious white color dust as they hatched different theories about it.

The social media users shared their opinions and thoughts about it as many of them believed that some planes might be involved in pouring in such dust on these two states.

The dust could be seen clearly falling from the sky on the surface of vehicles and gardens.

The West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection launched an investigation but what was that was not clear yet, according to media reports.

A department spokesman said there was no reason to believe that the sprinkle was the result of a train derailment in the Ohio state. He said that air quality in West Virginia was not affected after the February 3 accident.

The train which got derailed in Ohio carried harmful materials.

The people also witnessed white clouds in several areas of West Virginia last week.

Maryland Department of Environment said that it probably came here from New Mexico and Texas.
