Suicide attack on Sirajul Haq’s convoy in Zhob: JI
The spokesperson of the party confirms that Haq remained unharmed while five other members of the party injured during the suicide attack near the convoy in Zhob district of Balochistan.
Zhob: Jamaat-i-Islami said on Friday that an attempted suicide attack had taken place, targeting the convoy of their party head Sirajul Haq, in the Zhob district of Balochistan.
Taking to Twitter, the political party confirmed the safety of Sirajul Haq and reported that the assailant responsible for the attack had been neutralized. The party disclosed that Haq was present in the area with the purpose of addressing a political gathering when the incident occurred.

In a video message, Qaisar Sharif, the spokesperson of Jamaat-i-Islami (JI), provided an update on the party's emir, Siraj, who arrived in Quetta today and was scheduled to proceed to Zhob for a political gathering. However, as Siraj was entering Zhob and being greeted by supporters, an individual approached and detonated explosives.
Qaisar Sharif said that the JI leadership, including Siraj, is safe and out of danger.
He stated that everyone remained unharmed during the suicide attack, and there were no reported fatalities. Initial reports indicate that some vehicles were damaged, and a few individuals sustained injuries.
