New Delhi: Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has stated that the onus is on Pakistan to take necessary steps for restoring normal and neighborly relations between the two countries.
In an interview, Modi emphasized the need for a conducive environment free from terrorism and hostilities.
He also reaffirmed India's commitment to protecting its sovereignty and called for peace and tranquility in the border areas with China.
Despite opposition from Pakistan and China, India is hosting the G20 tourism meeting in the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
Modi highlighted the importance of mutual respect, sensitivity, and interests for future bilateral relations with China.
He expressed that normalizing ties would benefit the wider region and the world.
