Murree: To prevent traffic jams and accidents on the roads in the hill station of Murree, visitors are asked to carefully adhere to the traffic laws.
A City Traffic Police (CTP) official stated that the agency has completed all preparations for the summer season in order to guarantee the safety of the tourists.
The Rawalpindi City Traffic Officer Taimoor Khan, had asked the visitors to follow the traffic laws on the highways of Murree. In order to prevent traffic jams and any unfavorable situations during the summer.
Further to assist the visitors and address their issues in Murree, special teams have been developed. Using automobiles outside of the approved parking places is definitely forbidden, he continued.

Several roads including Bank Road, GPO Chowk to Kashmir Point, Hall Road, Lalazar to Kashmir Point, View Fourth Road, View Fourth Road to GPO Chowk, Guldana Road, GPO Chowk to Guldana Chowk, Dilkusha Road, Imtiaz Shaheed Road to Lari Adda via Dilkusha Hotel, Cecil Road, Imtiaz Shaheed Road to Cart Road via Cecil Apartments, and Pindi Point had been declared one-way roads to facilitate the motorists, he said.
A major control center has been set up at Jinnah Hall to supervise the provision of services to tourists, according to a district government spokesperson.
He pleaded with the visitors to assist the traffic cops in order to prevent the traffic jam. In order to guarantee a smooth flow of traffic, he advised drivers to avoid improper parking on public streets.
He added that because of the massive traffic load, the summer months in Murree see severe traffic congestion as a result of the area's attractive weather drawing a lot of tourists.
