Lahore: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Emir Sirajul Haq on Saturday expressed his commitment to ensuring justice for Rizwana, the 14-year-old maid.
The JI visited her at General Hospital and condemned the incident, considering it a matter of national shame.
The incident occurred in the home of a judge who should have been upholding justice but failed to maintain a dignified atmosphere.
Sirajul Haq pointed out that similar incidents have occurred before, mentioning a previous incident in Rawalpindi. He assured Rizwana's parents of his full support and cooperation in seeking justice for her.
