Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif met Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari, exchanged views on the country's political situation on Thursday.
Bhutto-Zardari briefed the premier of all the issues involving the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA).
The Jamhoori Watan Party (JWP) leader Shahzain Bugti, Defence Minister Khawaja Asif, SAPM Awn Chaudhry, and Communication Minister Maulana Asad Mahmood also made it to the PM House.
Earlier today, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Thursday inaugurated PM’s Digital Youth Hub Portal, aimed at integrating all the programmes and government steps taken for the development of youth.
The prime minister addressed at the opening ceremony and congratulated the youth on the opening of the facility while assuring them that the government was expanding its youth program nationwide.
The prime minister expressed his assurance that the government will use all of its resources and try everything in its ability to empower young people.
According to PM Shehbaz, the public sector institutions' best students are the only ones who should benefit from facilities like laptops and other funding programs. He instructed the young people to sign up on the website in order to use the services offered.
During the current fiscal year, the incumbent government has allotted Rs 80 billion for youth development, according to the prime minister.
PM Sharif thanked SAPM Shaza Fatima Khawaja, Lt General Senator Abdul Qayyum, vice-chancellors and members of the Youth Parliament for their efforts to uplift youth.
According to Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Youth Affairs Shaza Fatima Khawajaa, the portal will integrate all the steps and programmes launched across the country for youth development.
