Imran Khan's arrest internal matter of Pakistan: US
āThe cases against Imran Khan and other politicians in Pakistan are an internal matter,ā according to State Department spokesperson Mathew Miller.
The United States has declared that the cases against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan as the country’s internal matter.
The State Department reacted on the ongoing criminal proceedings against several political leaders. “The cases against Imran Khan and other politicians in Pakistan are an internal matter,” according to State Department spokesperson Mathew Miller.
Miller noted that the United States, like other countries across the world, regularly highlighted respect for democratic norms and the rule of law.
Earlier, PTI Chairman Imran Khan has been arrested from Zaman Park.
According to police sources, Chairman PTI is likely to be transferred to Attock.
While the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) team will arrest Chairman PTI.
The request to dismiss the hearing of the PTI Chairman's Toshakhana case was rejected.
Judge Hamayun Dilaawar re-emphasized that the accused has been proven guilty of the charges.
