Train, minibus collision claims six lives in Chile

Chile: Six people died in a collision between a train and a minibus in Chile.
According to the international news agency, the spokesman of the local military police, Francisco Carrasco, told the media that a train collided with a minibus in the San Pedro de la Paz area, about 500 kilometers south of Santiago.
As a result, six people died in the incident.
According to the report, the accident took place when the minibus was trying to break the closed gate.
6 passengers out of 14 died instantly due to the train collision.
Officials said that the collision occurred at a railway crossing.
According to preliminary investigations, the crossing barriers were working normally at the time of the incident.
San Pedro announced three days of mourning to pay tribute to the victims of the horrific incident.
