Indian actor, YouTuber Rahul Vohra dies of coronavirus after posting heart-breaking appeal
New Delhi: Indian actor and YouTuber Rahul Vohra has died days after sending out an appeal on social media for help as he battled COVID-19.

According to details, the 35-year old actor was diagnosed with the virus last week and had been moved to a hospital in New Delhi before his health deteriorated.
Following that, he took to social media and posted an appeal Facebook, looking for a bed with oxygen.
“I am Covid positive. I am admitted since 4 days but no recovery. Is there any hospital like this? Where can I get oxygen bed because my oxygen level is going down here. There is no one else to watch #delhi I am posting this because I am very helpless. Because the injustices are not able to handle anything,” Vohra posted on May 4.
On Saturday, the actor posted another message on Facebook, appearing defeated as wrote in Hindi: “If I had received good treatment I would’ve been saved. I will be reborn and do some good work. Now, I have lost all courage.” He died the next day.
India’s current Covid wave has taken on frightening proportions, driven in part by a new variant of the virus which has double mutations. Earlier this week, India overtook Brazil as the country with the second-highest number of cases in the world, behind the USA. Experts are concerned that given the low testing rate, India possibly has higher number of cases than either US or Brazil.
On Monday the country reported 366,161 new Covid-19 cases, 3,754 deaths in last 24 hours. Real numbers could be much higher, with crematoriums and graveyards both running out of space across the country.
