Islamabad: Pakistan is presently experiencing the third wave of coronavirus which is said to be deadlier and more contagious than previous two waves.

According to National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), around 4,207 cases of coronavirus were reported while 131 people succumbed to the disease in the last 24 hours, taking the total death toll to 19,987.
The total number of confirmed cases reached to 890,391.
As many as 804,122 patients have recovered from the disease with 4,517 critical cases.
Punjab
The number of patients swelled to 331,102 in the province with 9,640 causalities.
Sindh
The number of infections has surged to 303,323 in the province, while the death toll has reached 4,854.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
The confirmed cases have surged to 128,033 in the province with 3,855 casualties.
Balochistan
There are 24,223 confirmed cases while 270 patients have died from the infection so far.
AJK and Gilgit-Baltistan
There are 18,469 coronavirus cases in the AJK while the death toll has reached 521. On the other hand, there are 5,452 cases in GB with 107 coronavirus deaths.
Islamabad
There are 79,789 cases in the capital city while 740 people have lost their lives.
