PTI’s Mian Azhar allowed to take part in elections
One of the tribunal judge Justice Tariq Nadeem apprehended his request and announced Returning Officer's (RO) decision invalid.
Islamabad: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) contestant Mian Azhar got in by appellate tribunal from NA- 129 (Lahore) voters with acceptance of being appointed for the general elections 2024.
One of the tribunal judge Justice Tariq Nadeem apprehended his request and announced Returning Officer's (RO) decision invalid.
On the other hand, a candidate of PTI Ebad Farooq’s appeal got rejected by the election tribunal from PP- 150 against RO’s decision to discard papers.
Lahore High Court’s (LHC) Justice Tariq Nadeem said: “Everyone should take note that we listen to the appeals of candidates being impartial. The court is under the laws and orders. We have not had the precedent attitude towards any person”.
