Islamabad: Pakistan is presently experiencing the third wave of coronavirus which is said to be deadlier and more contagious than previous two waves.

According to National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), around 2,726 cases of coronavirus were reported while 75 people succumbed to the disease in the last 24 hours, taking the total death toll to 20,540.
The total number of confirmed cases reached 911,302.
As many as 831, 744 patients have recovered from the disease with 4,109 critical cases.
Punjab
The number of patients swelled to 337,073 in the province with 9,899 causalities.
Sindh
The number of infections has surged to 313,059 in the province, while the death toll has reached 4,966.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
The confirmed cases have surged to 131,027 in the province with 4,009 casualties.
Balochistan
There are 24,823 confirmed cases while 273 patients have died from the infection so far.
AJK and Gilgit-Baltistan
There are 19,008 coronavirus cases in the AJK while the death toll has reached 53 5. On the other hand, there are 5,533 cases in GB with 107 coronavirus deaths.
Islamabad
There are 80,779 cases in the capital city while 751 people have lost their lives.
