Asad Qaisar and Liaqat Baloch say they have discussed the matters with all aspects and expressed serious concerns over rigging in the general elections.


Islamabad: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Jamat-e-Islami-Pakistan (JIP) decided to contact all the political parties amid efforts.
“Our main point of agenda at this time is rigging in this election,” said Asad Qaisar, the PTI leader and former National Assembly Speaker, while talking to the reporters along with JIP leader Liaqat Baloch on Friday.
Both PTI and the JI discussed the prevailing political situation and deliberated on the issues with all aspects.
“We will call another meeting and will decide future course of action,” said Asad Qaisar, adding that the country was heading towards stability after the elections.
However, he said that their 70 seats were stolen from them during this election.
“Now the public will make the decisions and not the closed rooms,” he added.
Liaqat Baloch said that they would forward their efforts, saying that the JIP had already rejected the genera elections’ results. The both sides decided to unite all the parties with the same grievances and raise voice over rigging.
