Failure to submit returns will not result in notification of success to the candidate.
Islamabad: The day (Wednesday) marks the last day for submission of returns for the candidates of reserved seats. The victory notification will not be issued to those candidates who have not submitted the returns.
According to the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), the candidates of the national and provincial assemblies named in Form-33 should submit their returns. Failure to submit returns will not result in notification of success to the candidate.
It is pertinent to note that 82 Members of National Assembly (MNAs) supported by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) have joined the Sunni Etihad Council to ensure the attainment of specific seats in the National Assembly.
Nine independent Members of Prvincial Assembly (MPAs) from Sindh of PTI have also joined the Sunni Etihad Council.
Sahibzada Hamid Raza, head of Sunni Ittehad Council, submitted the list and affidavits of MNAs to the Election Commission.
