ECP uploads Form 45s, other poll results data online
The forms include Form 45, which provides the 'Result of the Count,' indicating the valid votes for each candidate and the excluded ballot papers.
Islamabad: Following the February 8 general elections, the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Tuesday took a significant step by uploading Form 45s and other essential forms containing polling data onto its official website.
These forms include Form 45, which provides the 'Result of the Count,' indicating the valid votes for each candidate and the excluded ballot papers.
The concerns were raised by several political parties, including PTI-backed independent candidates, regarding potential irregularities in constituencies where Form 45s were allegedly not utilized, possibly indicating instances of rigging.
Form 46, detailing the ballot papers, along with the Provisional Consolidated Statement of Results (Form 47), are now accessible on the ECP website. Additionally, Form 48, the Consolidated Statement of Results of the Count, and Form 49, the Final Consolidated Result form, have been made available online.
In the ongoing tally of the 2024 general elections, PTI-backed independent candidates have secured a lead over mainstream political parties, particularly in the National and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assemblies.
As per the latest results, PTI-backed independent candidates have secured 92 seats, placing them ahead. PML-N followed closely with 79 seats while the PPP secured 54 seats.
Other results include MQM-P winning in 17 constituencies, JUI-F in four, and PML-Q in three, with IPP and BNP securing two seats each
