BTS tells secret behind ‘Butter’ title name
BTS, also known as the Bangtan Boys—a seven-member South Korean boy band recently in an outspoken discussion publicized the main reason behind their name for the new all-English superhit song ‘Butter’.

The band boys got open over it all during their most recent interview and began by highlighting the “hard work and dedication” needed to make Butter a reality.
During the chat, RM was the first to chime in and admit, “It feels very good and ‘It’s just about a day since Butter released and were feeling good.”
When questions surrounding the title name for Butter came around, the boys confessed, “We are very happy that Butter has been melting into all ARMY’s hearts," and it truly has after the song went No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. But what is the main goal for the group? "Our goal is to have an in-person concert and see ARMY as soon as we can."
After confessing they still love performing music more than ever, they are ready for their virtual concerts to become in-person.
Earlier, BTS’ latest single Butter has been riding the wave of success and landed at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
According to Billboard, “Among groups, BTS has landed its first four No. 1s the fastest since the Jackson 5 in 1970.”
The success of “Butter” follows “Dynamite, “Life Goes On” and a remix of “Savage Love (Laxed – Siren Beat)”, as all three tracks earned the No 1 spot on Hot 100. Billboard added, “BTS is the first group with a trio of No. 1 entrances; no other group has more than one.”
Guinness World Records also confirmed that the music video has the most viewers for the premiere of a video on YouTube, it is the most-viewed YouTube music video in 24 hours and it is also the most-streamed track on Spotify in the first 24 hours.
Upon its release, “Butter” recorded 3.9 million concurrent views on YouTube, thus becoming the most-viewed music video in 24 hours on the platform.
The record was previously held by BTS’ first English single Dynamite.
As per Guinness World Records, “Butter” also registered the most number of views within 24 hours of its release with over 108 million views. It also became the most-viewed YouTube music video in 24 hours by a K-pop group.
Besides ruling YouTube, the single also broke the record of most streamed track on Spotify in 24 hours with over 11 million global streams.
“Butter” is BTS’ first release of 2021 and is the band’s second English-language single after “Dynamite,” which topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart for the first time for a South Korean group last year.
The band performed the single for the first time at the Billboard Music Awards 2021.
BTS is a seven-member South Korean band that includes RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook.
