Scotland achieved the target in the 19th over with the loss of five wickets


Bridgetown: In the 12th match of the International Cricket Council (ICC) T20 World Cup, Scotland defeated Namibia by five wickets.
According to the details, Scotland achieved the set target in the 18th over at the loss of five wickets.
The two teams of Group B met in Bridgetown, where Namibia won the toss and elected to bat and scored 155 runs for the loss of nine wickets in the allotted 20 overs.
Scotland achieved the target in the 19th over with the loss of five wickets, Michael Leask was adjudged player of the match for his excellent performance.
On behalf of Scotland, captain Richie Barrington remained unbeaten by scoring 47 runs, Michael Lesk scored 35 runs, Michael Jones scored 26 runs and Brendan McMullen scored 19 runs and played an important role in the success of the team.
Earlier, Namibia did not start their innings well, opener JP Kotze was dismissed for no runs after which captain Erasmus played a brilliant knock of 52 runs.
Wicket keeper Zane Green scored 28 runs, Nicholas Dion 20, David Well 14 and Jane Freelink 12 were outstanding.
