The reports show that Muhammad Abu Salmiya, the director of Al-Shifa Hospital, was detained by the Israeli military during a raid on the hospital last November

Gaza: Israel has released 55 Palestinians who were detained in Gaza, including the director of Al-Shifa Hospital, according to foreign media reports.
The reports showed that Muhammad Abu Salmiya, the director of Al-Shifa Hospital, was detained by the Israeli military during a raid on the hospital last November.
Abu Salmiya was now released along with 54 other detainees.
The Israeli military accused Hamas of using hospital facilities for military purposes, alleging that Al-Shifa Hospital was being used as a tunnel. However, Abu Salmiya and other hospital staff denied these allegations.
The director of Al-Nasir Hospital in southern Gaza confirmed Abu Salmiya's release and reported that five individuals were detained from Al-Nasir Hospital, while others were taken from Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital.
The officials from the Palestinian Ministry of Health stated that the Israeli military forced several hospitals to shut down during the raids, dramatically halting their services.
