Lahore: The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has recommended the government to increase the price of petrol by up to Rs 4.20 per litre.

According to soruces, OGRA has forwarded a summary to the Petroleum Division in which it has recommended an increase in the price of petrol by Rs. 4.20 per litre and a hike in the price of diesel by Rs 3.50 per litre.
The final decision on whether petroleum prices will be increased or not, will be taken by the Prime Minister Imran Khan, after consultation with the Ministry of Finance.
The new prices will come into effect from June 16.
