Azma Bokhari says Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz had said that corruption is her red line and she proved it

Lahore: Provincial Minister for Information and Culture Punjab Azma Bokhari said that in every meeting of the Punjab Cabinet more than one plan came for the betterment of the people.
She said that the biggest problem of the common man is the problem of electricity these days, and the problem of the common man is the Punjab Chief Minister's own problem.
“Roshan Gharana Program” has been approved by the Cabinet. There is good news for the people of Punjab, who are suffering from electricity bills, that the Chief Minister of Punjab is going to provide solar to consumers from 50 units to 500 units.
Under this project, 90 percent share would be paid by the Punjab government while only 10 percent share will have to be paid by the consumers. This is a billion rupees project, the details of which would be revealed to the public soon.
She expressed these views while holding a press conference at DGPR Lahore. She said that it has happened for the first time in the history of Pakistan that the price of flour has been notified in Punjab, on which the entire cabinet has paid tribute to the Chief Minister of Punjab. She said that my Chief Minister has come to reduce the prices of flour, potatoes, onions and other food items and she has zero tolerance in this regard.
Azma Bokhari further said that very soon the Socio-Economic Registry would start working under which the data of the beneficiaries would be collected and they would be able to benefit from the subsidies and relieves given by the Chief Minister of Punjab.
She said that there could be no social service greater than this.
“I challenge that any plan of Punjab Chief Minister is not only on papers. She has done what she said,” said Azma Bokhari.
She said that my Chief Minister had said that corruption is her red line and she proved it.
“No tender shall be colluded, recommended or under-tabled in Punjab. Now there will be e-tendering and it will be in front of everyone,” she added.
On this occasion, Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat said that they are bringing new reforms, comprehensive programs in education. Danish School flagship project, matriculation result is enough for critics.
“Government schools will fulfill the promise of quality schools. A committee has been formed for the appointment of VCs. We have improved the quality of education in government schools in the first few months to such an extent that public sector schools have beaten the private school mafia and taken positions away from them in the matriculation examinations. Public school systems will improve so much that the private sector will be forced to lower their fees,” said the minister.
The education minister said that in the matriculation examinations, they caught 270 centers bought by booti mafia and adopted a zero-tolerance policy in this regard in the inter-examinations, the results of which are out today.
