New DG CAA appointed
Nadir Shafi is appointed for three years
Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif appointed Nadir Shafi Dar as the new Director General (DG) of Civil Aviation Authority (CAA).
The notification of the appointment of Nadir Shafi Dar as Director General CAA has also been issued. He has been appointed DG of CAA by the Prime Minister for three years.
It is pertinent to note that last month the interview phase of the shortlisted candidates for the post of DG CAA was completed and interviews of 11 candidates including Acting DG Nadir Shafi Dar were conducted for this post.
Nadir Shafi is appointed for three years and the resumption of flights of Pakistani airlines in UK and Europe will be a big challenge for him.
