YouTube introduces budget-friendly Premium Lite for ad-free viewing
It is still unclear what the subscription fee for Premium Lite will be

(Web Desk): If you spend a lot of time watching YouTube and get annoyed by ads during your favorite videos, Google is introducing a new solution.
Currently, YouTube offers an ad-free experience through its Premium service, but many people find the monthly fee too high.
That's why the company is launching a budget-friendly version called YouTube Premium Lite.
According to a Bloomberg report, with Premium Lite, users will be able to watch most videos without ads.
The report suggests that Premium Lite will target users who prefer watching programs over music videos.
It is still unclear what the subscription fee for Premium Lite will be.
It’s worth noting that YouTube had previously trialed Premium Lite in 2021 in a few European countries, but the project was discontinued in 2023.
Now, the company is testing a different version of Premium Lite.
A company spokesperson said that they are testing a new YouTube Premium program that will allow most videos to be watched ad-free.
The spokesperson declined to provide further details, but the report stated that this new subscription service will be introduced first in the US, Australia, Germany, and Thailand.
The report also mentioned that users of this Premium program will still face ads while watching music videos on YouTube.
