48 Pakistanis deported from six countries; 38 offloaded at Karachi airport in 24 hours
Authorities urge travelers to ensure their visas and documents are in order to avoid such issues while traveling abroad

(Web Desk): In a series of deportations spanning six different countries, 48 Pakistani nationals were sent back to Pakistan in the last 24 hours.
The countries involved in the deportations included Saudi Arabia, Oman, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Qatar, and Azerbaijan. Meanwhile, 38 passengers were also offloaded at Karachi Airport for various issues with their visas and travel documents.
According to immigration sources, the majority of the deportations came from Saudi Arabia, where 31 individuals were sent back due to various legal violations. These violations included blacklisting, lack of valid passports, completion of prison sentences, expired work visas, working without a sponsor, and absconding from work.
Oman followed suit, sending back 12 individuals for reasons such as blacklisting, expired visas, and illegal entry into the country. Additionally, the UAE deported two individuals, while one Pakistani was sent back from Qatar. Azerbaijan also deported a Pakistani national who had been considered undesirable by the country’s immigration authorities.
The five individuals who were deported from these countries were subsequently handed over to local police in cities including Larkana, Dera Ghazi Khan, Faisalabad, Hyderabad, and Rakhshan.
In addition to the deportations, several passengers were offloaded at Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport. A total of three individuals holding visit visas for Iraq, Oman, and Saudi Arabia were offloaded after being blacklisted. Another 13 passengers, holding visit visas for Iraq, Greece, Azerbaijan, Sri Lanka, Thailand, and the Philippines, were also offloaded. Furthermore, seven individuals with work visas for Bahrain and Saudi Arabia were removed from flights.
Authorities continue to monitor these incidents and have urged travelers to ensure their visas and documents are in order to avoid such issues while traveling abroad.
