Islamabad: Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has said that deterioration of the situation in Afghanistan will negatively impact the neighboring countries.

In a statement on Tuesday, he called for collective support to the consultative process for a political solution to the Afghan issue.
The Minister said that Pakistan is fulfilling its responsibilities for maintaining peace and stability in Afghanistan.
“Pakistan has been hosting three million refugees for several decades despite having limited resources. We want that these Afghan citizens return to their country with dignity. In case of civil war in Afghanistan, Pakistan will not afford any more refugees on its soil,” he added.
