Westerly weather system is likely to enter the upper regions on May 24


Islamabad: Dust storms and thunderstorms accompanied by rain are expected in the upper regions of the country on May 23 and 24.
According to the Meteorological Department, moist winds are continuously entering the upper and central parts of the country, while a westerly weather system is likely to enter the upper regions on May 24.
Rain, thunderstorms, and dust storms are expected in Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Murree, and Galiyat.
Rain is also forecasted in Attock, Chakwal, Jhelum, Mianwali, Hafizabad, Mandi Bahauddin, Sialkot, Narowal, Lahore, Gujranwala, Gujrat, Sheikhupura, Chitral, Dir, Swat, Malakand, Mansehra, Battagram, Shangla, and Kohistan.
Similarly, rain and stormy winds are expected on May 23 and 24 in Abbottabad, Haripur, Peshawar, Mardan, Swabi, Nowshera, Mohmand, Khyber, Orakzai, Kurram, Bannu, Lakki Marwat, Kohat, Karak, and Waziristan.
On May 24, rainfall is also expected in Zhob, Ziarat, Barkhan, Sargodha, Faisalabad, Jhang, Toba Tek Singh, D.G. Khan, Rajanpur, Multan, Bhakkar, Layyah, and D.I. Khan.
