Health Minister appealed public to seek professional help to avoid unnecessary injuries

Ankara: More than 14,000 people were injured during animal sacrifices on the first day of Eid-ul-Adha in Turkiye.
According to the Turkish Health Minister, 14,372 people were brought to hospitals with injuries across the country on Friday, the first day of Eid.
He said that 1,049 people in Ankara, 753 in Istanbul, and 655 in Konya were injured while slaughtering animals.
The Health Minister appealed to the public to seek help from expert butchers to avoid unnecessary injuries.
It is pertinent to note that last year, about 16,000 people were injured during sacrifices on the occasion of Eid in Turkiye.
