During the raid, authorities recovered explosives, suicide vests, hand grenades, and a diary listing potential targets

(Web Desk): Three suspected members of the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) – Fitna Al-Khawarij – were killed in an exchange of fire during a Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) raid in Karachi’s Manghopir area early Monday.
According to CTD officials, the operation was carried out following intelligence reports that militants were hiding in a house in the area. As police surrounded the hideout, the suspects opened fire, triggering a shootout that resulted in the deaths of all three militants.
CTD Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Raja Umar Khattab confirmed the deaths, identifying two of the suspects as Zafran and Qudratullah. "Zafran had a government bounty of Rs20 million on his head," said Khattab, adding that the third militant is yet to be identified.
Officials believe one of the deceased was a suicide bomber involved in last year’s attack targeting Chinese nationals in Karachi. During the raid, authorities recovered explosives, suicide vests, hand grenades, and a diary listing potential targets.
The CTD stated that the bomb disposal squad cleared the house after the operation. Investigators are now working to trace the owner of the property, where the militants had reportedly been hiding for an extended period.
