Israeli authorities deports 131 more members of Global Samud Flotilla

Web Desk: Israeli authorities have released and deported 131 more members of the Global Samud Flotilla. Among the released is Pakistan's former Senator Mushtaq Ahmed.
According to international news agencies, Israel has deported an additional 131 members of the Global Samud Flotilla, including former Pakistani senator Mushtaq Ahmed. The deported individuals have since been transported to Jordan.
Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister, Ishaq Dar, confirmed Mushtaq Ahmed’s release in a post on X (formerly Twitter), stating that the former senator is now safely at the Pakistani embassy in Jordan.
Mr Dar added that the embassy stands ready to assist in Senator Mushtaq Ahmed’s return to Pakistan, in accordance with his preferences and convenience. He also extended gratitude to all friendly nations that supported and assisted Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs during this process.
I am pleased to confirm that former Senator Mushtaq has been released and is now safely with Pakistan Embassy in Amman. He is in good health and high spirits. The Embassy stands ready to facilitate his return to Pakistan, in accordance with his wishes and convenience.

A spokesperson for Jordan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that following coordinated arrangements, all deported individuals entered Jordan via the Hussein Bridge to ensure their safe repatriation.
According to the spokesperson, the group of deportees included citizens from Bahrain, Tunisia, Algeria, Oman, Kuwait, Libya, Pakistan, Türkiye, Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Colombia, the Czech Republic, Japan, Mexico, New Zealand, Serbia, South Africa, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, the United States, and Uruguay.
