Lahore police retrieve 11-acre state land from grabbers
Lahore: Lahore police retrieved 11 acres of state land in two actions against land grabbers in the provincial capital on Saturday.
A police team under the supervision of the Cantt SP lodged anti-encroachment operation and vacated 7-acre land from accused Shahid Mehmood of Saddar bazar Lahore Cantt.
The accused was constructing illegal housing society at the said land owned by Jammu and Kashmir Affiars ministry and situated in Moza Wara Allah Dad Minhala Road.
Shahid has been arrested and booked in a case.
In second action four acres of land had been vacated from accused Ali Raza. Police said legal action is being taken against accused.
